Healthy Eating Kids Club

The St Matthews Centre and North Glasgow Community Food Initiative have teamed up to offer kids aged 6-11 in North Glasgow a free Healthy Eating Kids Club. Kids can take part in arts & crafts and learn about healthy eating, while parents relax with a tea or coffee.

The group is 1 year old next month and would like to invite women in North Glasgow along to their fundraiser to celebrate. WINGS ladies night will take place on Friday 28th October at Petershill Road Social Club from 7:30 - Late. Tickets are £3.00 and fancy dress is optional.

Free School Meals Consultation

The policy of extending free school meal provision has gained widespread support from many; Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG), along with Poverty Alliance, One Plus, the Scottish Youth Parliament, a range of voluntary organisations, nutritional experts, academics and politicians from across the political spectrum are supporting proposals for a new School Meals (Scotland) Bill.
