Community ICT forum launched

A new forum has been launched by Digital Community to support the hundreds of community websites now operating throughout Scotland. Many community websites face similar issues, such as attracting and retaining users, sustainability, and ensuring that the site is used appropriately. To date, however, there has been little by way of sharing information between the web editors. To help address this, a virtual community has been created to foster greater collaborative working between community web editors. For now the discussion forum is the core of the site. In time, however, the site could possibly expand to include features such as a document library, case studies from practitioners, event information, etc. Please e-mail your suggestions and ideas for the website to p.ohare@glasgownorth.org People are being encouraged to visit the site and sign up to the discussion board and share their knowledge and ideas.
