Toonspeak has won another award and is now Learndirect's Learning Employer of the Year! One of Toonspeak's Directors went to the Celebration of Learning Ceremony at the Hub in Edinburgh to receive the award.

Particular praise was given to the project's Empowerment Programme (funded by North Glasgow Partnership and Glasgow City Council, Arts Development) which provides a series of Masterclasses based on a range of subjects designed to increase our members' participation in the decision making processes of the company.  Masterclasses include website design, poster design for Toonspeak shows and fundraising. Toonspeak also have a Learndirect computer installed in the office where staff, board members, volunteers and members can complete online courses.
