Glasgow City Health Walks
17 November 2005

Glasgow City Health Walks is a project that aims to encourage people to take up walking as a gentle form of exercise, giving participants the chance to meet new people and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Park Rangers are leading health walks at present.  They are:

  • Queens Park   - Glasshouses, Langside Road Entrance
  • Tollcross Park   - Courtyard, Wellshot Road Entrance
  • Springburn Park  - Entrance at Belmont Road beside Stobhill Hospital
  • Kelvingrove Park  - Entrance on Kelvinway, adjacent to Public Toilets
  • Bellahouston Park  - Bowling green building (to left of Sport Centre)
  • Kings  Park - Walled Garden

All of the above walks take place Monday to Thursday at 10:30am and 1:30pm, and 10:30am Saturday and Sunday, every week.  All walks are free of charge.

Please note children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Come along for a guided walk in the park!
