Glasgow City Council’s Libraries, Information and Community Facilities have introduced a new Home Library Service for residents who are, for whatever reason, unable to visit the library themselves to choose their reading material.
The Home Library Service provides a volunteer to choose and deliver books and other library materials to people in the comfort of their own home. One of our librarians will visit you, talk to you about what you like to read and introduce you to a library visitor. This visitor will then call on you regularly, bringing your selection of books.
