The Sports Council for Glasgow (SCG) is a voluntary organisation, which aims to represent the interests of it’s member sports clubs across Glasgow and offers support and assistance to it’s members through sport club development.
Their members consist of a sizeable breadth and depth of sports and the SCG works with them, in partnership with Glasgow City Council, to promote sport and ensure that sports clubs in Glasgow remain at the forefront of British sport.
Some of their services include grant aid, promoting their clubs, providing clubs with their own marketing materials, free child protection disclosure checking service for member club volunteers, assistance with locating facilities, offers and discounts with various partner organizations.

"We know how challenging it can be to run a sports club and it is our job to help and support Glasgow sports clubs in every way we can. We have a wealth of experience and knowledge and are in the fortunate position of having a full time Development Officer who is available to offer assistance and support to all our clubs on any issues they may have."
