16 Days of Action to Eliminate Violence Against Women 2007

Funding for activities in Glasgow:

A programme of activities to mark International 16 Days of Action to Eliminate Violence Against Women from 25 November to 10 December is now well established in Glasgow. This year the recently established Glasgow Community and Safety Services are co-ordinating activities on behalf of Glasgow City Council and a Planning Group has been established to take this work forward.

The Planning Group is organising central and city wide events, but also wants to see activities being organised in local areas or which target particular communities. Voluntary Groups and Organisations and invited to apply for funding to organise an event or activity to mark the 16 Days of Action.

Funding will be allocated on a first come first served basis to applications which meet the Criteria and Conditions of Funding.
Application forms must be received by Monday 8th October 2007.
