The Wakeham Trust provides grants to help people rebuild their
communities. They are particularly interested in neighbourhood projects,
community arts projects, projects involving community service by young
people, or projects set up by those who are socially excluded. They do
not favour any particular areas of activity, but have the following
criteria:
. Your project is something new for your particular area
. It is small (they normally give grants to projects where an initial
£75 to £750 can make a real difference to getting the project up and
running)
It does not employ staff
It is not well established
It has the potential to become self-supporting
It is outward looking and helps a lot of people
It has a U.K. charity number, or can find a charity to accept funds on
its behalf

to the rule) visit their website at www.wakehamtrust.org
