Health Improvement Trainers Scotland (HITS)

Health Scotland are delighted to announce a date for launching the trainers’ network, which has been named Health Improvement Trainers Scotland (HITS).Health Improvement Trainers are staff who would deliver the following courses and similar:

  •     Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid, Mental Health awareness raising sessions
  •     Health Improvement Training for: sexual health, healthy eating, smoking cessation
  •     Health Behaviour Change
  •     Health Issues in the Community
  •     Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
  •     Blood Bourne Virus Training
  •     Health Promoting Schools
  •     Understanding Health Inequalities

 
Health Improvement Trainers from all over Scotland are invited to attend the launch date and it is realised that the venue (Glasgow) will be difficult to travel to for some people; we are therefore offering:

  •     Three places for paid travel and accommodation for those who live on the islands in remote regions
  •     Ten places for paid travel only for those who cannot travel in one day

If you are able to attend, please send in your booking form as soon as possible as limited places are available.
