Toonspeak Young People’s Theatre in Partnership with NGARN present:
'Create Yourself'
What:
A 12 session multi-artform project for young people aged 16+ in North Glasgow. The participants get a chance to get involved in a range of workshops from design to music production, from drama to DJing. There will also be sessions with Stow College, trips to arts events in Glasgow and information sessions on how to get a career in the arts
Why:
It’ll be a laugh. It will provide information on local arts projects, college courses and careers in the arts. It’s all FREE
Who:
The sessions will be run by professional artists from NGARN organisations and Stow College. Participants should be aged 16+
When:
There are 3 groups:
1. Monday nights at Windsor St Community Hall, Maryhill 7-9pm from 4th Feb
2. Tuesday nights at Rosemount Flexicentre, Royston Road 6-8pm from 5th Feb
3. As part of Youthsmart’s full time course at 1073 Maryhill Road starting in Feb
