Lloyds TSB Foundations to Receive £37.1m in 2008

The Lloyds TSB Group has announced that the four Lloyds TSB Foundations  across the UK will receive £37.1 million this year to fund charities supporting disadvantaged people and community groups across the UK. The independently run Lloyds TSB Foundations form one of the largest grant-making trusts in the UK and have distributed over £330 million since 1987. Funding through the Foundation is primarily made through two grant programmes.

These are the Community Open Programme which is open to all charities whose work falls within the Foundation''s overall mission statement; and the Community Priority Programme which focuses on funding designed to meet local and national needs. The 2008 fund will be allocated as follows: Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales (£26.8 million); Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland (£7.2 million); Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland (£2.0 million)'' and Lloyds TSB Foundation for the Channel Islands (£1.1 million).
