Dewar Arts Awards
01 May 2008

The Dewar Arts Awards were set up by the Scottish Executive in memory of Scotland''s first First Minister, Donald Dewar. Any young person living or working in Scotland can be nominated up to the age of 30, if their financial circumstances make it difficult to progress fully in their chosen field.

A typical award winner will have come to the attention of tutors or employers as having quite exceptional talent. If they are being hampered in making further progress because of a lack of funds, the Dewar Arts Awards will do everything possible to help.

The trustees usually meet 4 times a year. 2008 meetings will be held in the third week of February, May, July and November. For more information go to www.dewarawards.org
