North Glasgow Healthy Living Community will once again host Fun in the Park in Springburn Park on Saturday 19th July 2008. Fun in the Park has established itself as one of North Glasgow’s biggest annual family events with approximately 6,500 people joining in the fun last year.

This year’s event promises to be even bigger with an action packed afternoon of FREE activities guaranteed to keep the whole family amused including a falconry display, mountain biking, bouncy castles, adventure courses, mask making, story telling , face painting, live music, and the ever popular Dog Display Team. And if all that isn’t enough, thrill seekers can test their strength on the bungee run or brave new heights on the giant climbing wall.
 
A variety of community stalls will also be on hand to offer health & well being advice and information along with free taster sessions in therapeutic massage.

The fun starts at 12 noon so bring all the family and have even more ‘Fun in the Park’ this summer!

Fun in the Park is supported by Glasgow City Council, North Glasgow Housing  Association, Friend’s of Springburn Park, Strathclyde Police and other local agencies.
