About Community Channels Partnerships

This page tells you how a community project can display their own information, news and events on this site.

The community portal offers local groups and organisations the facility to display their own information, news and events directly through the portal. This information is displayed to the general public on dedicated web pages called ‘community channels’.

Only very basic web skills are required to do this, and a training session lasting about one hour can be arranged at the organisation’s convenience. During this session a secure username and password will be issued. No additional software is required, but a broadband or similar fast internet connection is essential.

You can apply for a Community Channel using our Online Community Channel Partnership Form

Please make sure you read the Partnership Terms and Conditions

Note: If a community channel is not for you, but you would like to be listed in the Community Directory (a different part of this site which only lists an organisation's contact details) please click here.
