North Glasgow Integration Network (Under development) North Glasgow Integration Network (NGIN) was established in 2001 and is a Network of organisations and individuals that actively support and are strongly committed to the principles of integration in North East Glasgow.
The Network believes that integration is essential for the common good of all people in the local area, Glasgow wide and to the nation in a Scottish and UK context. North Glasgow has a very mixed population with many people that have come to the City from many countries around the world including the largest proportion of asylum seekers in the City. The a large part of the role of the Network is to support these people to live, work, learn and socialise together with the native Scottish people in harmony and with mutual respect. The work of the Integration Network is done using the Local Integration Plan or LIP. The LIP is developed by member projects and by members of the local community.
