Invitation to attend Gathering Evidence Event and Workshops

This event is about gathering evidence to assess what impact on people's health, the City of Glasgow Licensing Board Policy Statement has made.  This event is important because the Statement is due for renewal by November 2010.

Please click here for an introduction to the Gathering Evidence Event which should provide answers to some initial questions you may have.  Paragraphs 6 and 7 of the introduction provide you with an outline of the intended areas for discussion at the event.

This event is important to the future impact of the City of Glasgow Licensing Board Policy Statement and is being led by Glasgow City Council Health Policy Team.  The Health Policy Team, along with support from a number of partners, will be gathering evidence as part of a process to assess the existing Licensing Policy Statement.  This process is called a Health Impact Assessment (HIA).  Paragraph 9 of the introduction provides links to further sources of information including the HIA and the full Licensing Policy.
