Overview

GNRA offer people within the north the opportunity to be employed and gain practical work experience and qualifications at the same time. The Community Janitors are employed and paid the minimum wage for up to 6 months and we support them into a full time job.

Some area's we can offer experience:

- Hedge and grass cutting

- Groundworks

- Painting and decorating

- Graffiti removal

- And other environmental improvements

Each person will receive training and qualifications that will enhance their opportunity to gain a full time job.

Person Specification:

• Reliable and good time keeper.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Ability to organise own workload to achieve priorities and objectives
• Good interpersonal skills in dealing with the public and colleagues
• Flexible and adaptable
• Commitment to own personal development
• Commitment to pursuing excellence

Recruitment and Eligibility:

 - You must be aged 18+

- You must be unemployed

- You must live in the north of Glasgow

Duration: Up to 26 wks, 35hrs per week, £5.80 per hour
