The next Health Improvement Trainers Scotland (HITS) event will take place on the 18th June 2008 at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh. This event is open to all health improvement trainers and practitioners with a training remit. 
You might work in one of the following areas:

Smoking cessation
Obesity/weight management
Addiction services
Nutritional guidance
Alcohol and substance misuse
Community and voluntary
Keep Well and health inequalities

 
HITS's current membership includes the following roles:

Public Health Practitioners
Co-ordinators and Project Officers
Self-employed specialists/consultants
Training and Development Officers
Freelance Trainers
