WHAT IS FLOURISH HOUSE?

Flourish House is a project for adults with long term mental ill-health, based in the Woodlands area of Glasgow. We are a part of the the International Clubhouse movement, a worldwide model for mental health rehabilitation where members work together in equal partnership with staff to run the project.

Through involvement in the work of the house members recover confidence, improve their well-being and gain new skills. We provide a structured day with opportunities for meaningful work and social support. All engagement with the project is completely voluntary.

OUR VISION

We want to live in a society where:

• People who have mental health difficulties are valued as neighbours, colleagues and friends.
• Mental health is viewed in the same way as physical health.

OUR CRITERIA FOR MEMBERSHIP

• Primary diagnosis of mental ill health
• Must be over 18 years old
