Phoenix Futures offers many types of support to those dependant on drugs and alcohol in Glasgow and around the UK, including Community, Residential and Prison services, we provide the support to help service users rebuild their lives.

In the Glasgow area we have:

The Hill Street Service – The Hill Street Service is run by Phoenix Futures and commissioned by Glasgow Addiction Service for people currently drug dependant or who have suffered drug dependency in the past. The service offers men and women aged 18+ the opportunity to deal effectively with their drug use and lifestyle in a safe and structured environment while remaining within their own community.

Who uses the service?

The service aims to work with individuals who have a history of substance misuse and desire to make substantial changes to their lifestyle. We support and assist individuals, providing them with opportunities to develop a range of skills that will enable them to achieve and maintain a healthy and independent lifestyle.

We recognise that some people need support to tackle their substance misuse problems and that this can be very demanding for all concerned, including their families. We work with individuals in a number of ways. First we will assess an individual’s needs and desires which inform an agreed Care Plan. We then offer support via a structured day programme that is individually tailored. We deliver our programme in partnership with the statutory authority and other partnership agencies.

Our treatment programme helps individuals deal with the nature of their dependency, improve their employment skills, tackle social exclusion and can help keep families together.

What does the service offer?

The service offers a range of assessment, structured one to one and group interventions and activities. We offer a comprehensive group work programme incorporating core and thematic modules, some of which are gender specific. We offer an education, skills and employability programme which features literacy and numeracy. We also offer a wide range of complimentary therapies. We comply with relevant quality and care standards and employ a fully qualified team,
