· A fully functioning Community Channel with as much information about your organisation
as you require
· Various sections of Content, for example, “About Us”, “News”, “Contact Us”
· Full assistance from the Website Development Worker
· Training when needed to move up to the next level
Steps involved in creating your Community Channel:
1. The Organisation interested should complete a Membership form to set up a Community Channel online, alternatively the printable version can either be faxed or posted back to the contact details provided on the form.
2. A meeting will then be arranged between the Organisation Contact and the Website Development Worker (WDW) to discuss the relevant Contribution Care Level and the information provided on the Membership form.
3. The WDW will set up the Community Channel with the information provided from the Organisation.
4. The WDW will then visit the Organisation and provide a walk-through of the Organisation’s new Community Channel
5. The Organisation is now responsible for contributing up to date information/news/events/photos etc to the WDW via email or through Access North Glasgow Community Portal Contribution pages.
6. The WDW will up date the Community Channel until both parties are content with progressing to the next level.
What happens next?...
The Intermediate Contribution Care Level Package is the next level after Primary. This includes training on Sitekit (Content Management System for the Portal) to enable you to have more responsibility over your Community Channel.
Thereafter you are able to progress on to the Advanced Contribution Care Level package.
The Website Development Worker is available to assist with ANY issues regardless of the Care Level that has been reached, please do not hesitate to contact should you require support.
The Website Development Worker has full access and permissions to ALL content on the Access North Glasgow Community Portal. If there is any questionable content added to the Portal it will be dealt with accordingly – please make sure you read the Community Channel Partner Policy carefully.
