RNID Scotland |
Hear to Help Volunteers Required
RNID Scotland is looking for volunteers for an exciting new Glasgow Project. We are an "Investing In Volunteers" organisation, which ensures a quality experience for our volunteers.
Volunteers will provide support and information to deaf and hard of hearing people using hearing aids. This could be providing assistance with who to fit a hearing aid correctly, cleaning and re-tubing hearing aids as well as fitting new batteries.
In addition, volunteers will provide information about equipment for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people as well as demonstrating equipment. Volunteers may be required to undertake home visits, in pairs, to provide support and information to hard to reach sections of the community.
Volunteers may also provide the Hearing Aid support services on an outreach basis in various locations within the local community.
All volunteers will undertake RNID ‘investing in volunteering' training and may also access additional training to deliver talks to groups within the community about the work of RNID, should they wish. Skills & Experience
