We aim to promote the Eco-Committee and make the community aware of the beneficial work that the group are taking part in to improve the immediate viscinity around Royston Primary School.
Update!
We are going to keep a video and photo diary of our project from beginning to end. We started this in february by taking a walk round the school grounds and the surrounding areas to see how it looked. The children filmed this and gave commentary on the video as they were filming. Photos were also taken and will be kept as a record.
At the moment the children are looking at plans of the school grounds and deciding what they would like to see in their school. We are organising a clean up day in may followed by a fundraising day to help raise money for our project. For the fundraiser "1000 times around the playground" we are going to do 1000 laps of the playground everyone taking a turn round either walking or on skates or scooters.
