Provision for Young People in North Glasgow

7 young people from Barmulloch, Milton, Ruchill, Maryhill and Royston were employed by Glasgow North Regeneration Agency to complete a research study of youth provision in the north of Glasgow. 

The main aims of the research were to find out:
• what facilities are available for young people in the north of Glasgow
• what young people aged 12-18 years old do in their spare time
• what can be done to improve the communities in which they live

Their key objectives were to:
• locate the range and type of youth work available in North Glasgow
• identify examples of good youth work
• find youth hubs and youth forums
